Leicestershire Through A
Lens 2010
Following the success of last year’s
competition, we’re pleased to announce that Leicestershire Through
a Lens is to run throughout 2010!
Entries are now being accepted for the
Winter round – deadline 28th Feb
Just in case you require a reminder about the
competition and its rules, Leicestershire Through a Lens asks
amateur photographers of all ages to submit photographs which they
feel represent the county. This year’s challenge is that all
photographs must feature people as the subject -
anything from school children enjoying the recent snow, or dancers
in Leicester’s Diwali celebrations.
A permissions form, downloadable
here, must be
completed by each entrant and signed by their subject or
parent/guardian if they are under 16.
Prizes
• You can win up to £200 worth of
photography vouchers.
• The chance to get your photo viewed
by residents of Leicestershire at a public exhibition.
• Your winning photo printed in the
official ‘Leicestershire Through a Lens’ 2011 calendar.
How to enter
There are three age categories:
• 11 years and under
• 12 - 18 years old
• 19 years old and older
Entries should be submitted with
the photographer’s full name, age, telephone number and address
with a permission form attached by post or email.
There is no limit to creativity but it
is important that your photograph represents
YOUR representation of Leicestershire. Images
must be of high resolution, at least 300 dpi resolution. Make sure
you send your full name, age, telephone number and contact address
(if you are under the age of 16 on the closing date for that
season, please use your school address).
