completely different? Fancy capturing the very things you love
about Leicestershire and winning some fantastic prizes? Why
not enter Bardon Aggregates’ photography competition
‘Leicestershire Through a Lens’.
We’re giving you the chance to share
your vision in an exciting new free to enter seasonal competition,
which aims to capture the very essence of life in Leicester and
Leicestershire. Anything from people, events, and landscapes, you
decide what best represents your county.
Prizes
• You can win up to £200 worth of
photography vouchers.
• The chance to get your photo viewed
by residents of Leicestershire at a public exhibition.
• Your winning photo printed in the
official ‘Leicestershire Through a Lens’ 2010 calendar.
How to enter
There are three age categories:
• 11 years and under
• 12 - 18 years old
• 19 years old and older
Entries can be submitted with the
photographer’s full name, age, telephone number and address by post
or email.
There is no limit to creativity but it
is important that your photograph represents YOUR
vision of Leicestershire; anything from people, local landscapes,
landmarks, festivals or local events. Images must be of high
resolution, at least 300 dpi resolution. Make sure you send your
full name, age, telephone number and contact address (if you are
under the age of 16 on the closing date for that season, please use
your school address).

Email entries must be sent to:
leicestershirethroughalens@htpr.co.uk,
with each image no larger than 5 MB and sent as an attachment on
the email. Make sure you have included all the relevant
details outlined above, especially your name and address. If
you have more than one favourite shot of Leicestershire don’t
worry, you can enter as many photos as you like.
